Snow Black

I'm siting hear in Phoenix, AZ for my delayed layover to Los Angeles so I decided to put together my post that I did while I was back home in snowy New York.  I had an amazing time with the family for the holidays. It was like old times with my brothers and sister. We had lots of nights with drinking watching movies and cracking jokes!  It’s crazy to see how were growing up so fast. It was nice to also see that we still want to be a kid at times. We kept are traditions of baking cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve and waking up early on Christmas day to unwrap all the presents.  It’s that one time of year that you can act like a kid and get away with it. This visit was one of my shortest ever! I usually stay a good 2-4 weeks. Last visit there was no snow which definitely left a damper on my visit. But this time around I got my wish and I got a lot of it. I can’t wait to go back home and visit again! There’s nothing like being home with the family, it’s the most comfortable place for me. While I was there I got a chance to rock my all black ensemble including my leather gloves and jacket. Take a look at my rendition of Snow Black!

A New Start to A New Beginning

I am so excited, I leave Monday to NY again to see my family and friends for the holidays. I’ve had a crazy 2 weeks, from starting a new job and working hard on my dreams. I’m exhausted but I’m happy to be working in the industry again! I’m also working on some new things for Zelie for She for the beginning of the New Year so keep your eyes open.  Since I started a new job my nights are a lot shorter, but I made sure to make some time to party!  I went out last night to bring in the end to the Mayan Calendar with some friends. Watched an amazing burlesque show, had some good calamari and drank the night away because it was going to “supposable” be my last night alive. But it wasn’t, I’m still here! Lately I’ve been rocking a lot of black! I can’t help it! I love black and you can’t tell me to add some color yet! I’ll bring some color around in the summer! But for now I don’t mind rocking my buckled boots, Panel leopard leggings and my black blazer. I hope everyone has an amazing Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I will take tons of pictures well I’m home visiting and share them with you through the week!
Happy Holidays!

Chic Stylish Finish

It’s been a busy week for me and I'm so happy the weekend is here! I'm attending some holiday parties and I might just have to wear my new favorite outfit from the Los Angeles Lookbook (See Post Below)! I hope everyone enjoyed the look book because we enjoyed putting it together! Cant wait to do it again! I love many of my outfits from the spread that I wanted to share with you some additional photos. I’ve been crazy over the metallic long sleeve dress from Lane Bryant that I'm wearing with  tights and my  Booties. During the winter I love  to wear tights with all my dresses.  To me, it gives a  chic stylish finish  and it also doesn't hurt that they keep your legs a bit warmer.  By the way did you also check out the outfit from the lookbook that Ivory was wearing with the panel tights ? That outfit was sick! I need to that look ASAP.  I'm definitely shopping around for some color tights this season. Just trying to figure out which color to go with! If you haven’t seen the lookbook yet take a look!

Los Angeles + Lookbook

What happens when three Los Angeles fashion bloggers get togeather? We create a lookbook! Ivory Jinelle of Ivoryjinelle.blogspot.com, Monique Frausto of CurvesandChaos.com and I  came together to make this lookbook happen. I have been holding it in for some time and Im so happy that I can now share it with you guys! I had a blast working with them,I got to know them on a  personally level and I love them dearly! They are the most genuine people Ive meet since moving to  L.A. I must say Monique has the BEST accessories and pull of the blazer move. And please dont even try to compete with Ivory's shoe collection and her criss cross movement. These girls are the freshest girls in L.a and I am thrilled to be apart of this project!
I'm going to keep it short so you can take a look at the lookbook!

A Quick Trip to The City

I left for NYC last Thursday for a quick trip which included some events, meetings and my best friend’s wedding. Then Friday I attended  Becca swimwear by Rebecca Virtue event where I had a chance to view some fabulous swimwear for the curvy figure. I'm obsessed with their crochet pant and swimsuit. Definitely a must have for this summer’s wardrobe! I also saw all my east coast blogger girlfriends that I haven’t seen since FFFWEEK.  I then took a moment to explore the Holiday decorations around the city. I’ve been to the city so many times throughout my life, but I don’t think I’ve ever been during the holidays. I usually fly straight to upstate and don’t even bother going into the city. But this time around I went to Rockefeller Center and I loved it! I’m a huge fan of anything Xmas or Holiday! Then on Saturday I attended my best friend’s wedding! It was beautiful; I cried like a baby but also ate some amazing food. In all it was an amazing trip, but now I must prepare myself to travel back to NY for the holidays with the family. Check out my Candids to view more photos from my trip!  I want to also congratulate Mynn for winning the giveaway from Zelie for She
